RENTAL POLICY
Must be 21 years of age or older to rent any of the Parks and Recreation Facilities. |
Cancellations must be made 10 days prior to rental date to receive a refund. No refunds will be made on outdoor facilities if rained out, however a credit will be issued if department is contacted the following week. |
The required cash damage deposit will be taken when picking up keys to center, conference room or fields. Fees will be deducted accordingly if chairs and tables are not returned to proper place or if trash is not disposed of in the proper place. The full required damage deposit will be kept for any destruction of city property. |
No tape, thumbtacks, staples used on walls or ceilings. No decorations left on walls or ceilings. The area should be left cleaned as you rented it. |
No alcohol beverages are allowed on city property. No smoking allowed in public buildings or on or near playing fields. |
No tables or chairs are to be removed from public buildings. |
Renter is responsible for any misuse of department and/or center equipment. |
The department janitorial crew is responsible for picking up trash bags and cleaning building as usual. If you have a big spill, please find a mop and use it. |
Janitorial services will be rendered prior to date unless other arrangements are made. Rentals directly following a department program will not receive janitorial services until after the rental. |
All facilities must be secured and vacant by 10:00 p.m. |
All centers, conference rooms and field rentals will be checked by a Parks and Recreation staff before deposit is returned. |
All rentals are on a first come, first serve basis.
Rentals will not be accepted over the phone. |
All facilities will be made available to all groups organized for civic, educational, or other community purpose, at such times that will not conflict with services of the city. |
A single individual and/or organization may schedule the facilities for use no more than twice per month. The city will adhere to a "first come, first serve" policy should there be a schedule conflict. |
There shall be no fund raising activities, door charges, or sales of any article for private gain on City property. |
All facility rentals are subject to denial. |
Only department approved meetings, lectures, or conferences are allowed in indoor facilities. |
No food or drinks are allowed in carpeted areas. |
The director of Clinton Parks and Recreation or his designated representative reserves any and all rights to attend any event or function and make any decisions concerning policy, procedures, liability, or safety without the consultation with responsible person/ organization/ company of the event or function. Loss of park privileges and suspension of all department and non-department programs, events and special functions may result if any violations occur. |
