2nd Friday of the Month at 11:30am

 

Once each month our senior adults gather for lunch at 11:00 a/m at Brighton Park and carpool to different restaurants or you can just meet us there at 11:30. Look for locations TBA in the monthly newsletter.

Line Dancing

   Tuesdays at 1:30 @ BHP

This exciting class literally keeps you on your toes. Come learn the latest in line dancing in this beginner level class. Hands on help available upon request.

Potluck Luncheon

Last Monday of the month at 11:30 a.m.

You don’t want to miss this meal. Everyone’s invited to bring your favorite dish and join in on some good eating! Potluck Luncheon is held on the last Monday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at Brighton Park. Hope to see you there!

Wacky Wednesday

First and third Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

 

  Want to play something new or maybe something that we don’t offer each week? Bring in your card games, board games or puzzles and share them with the group.

3rd Thursday of the month at 2 p.m.
BINGO! Come take a chance at winning a prize or two or maybe even three! Join in on this fun game where everyone has the potential to be a winner! Ages 50+

Mexican Train Dominoes

Second and Fourth Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m.

This game is played using a set of double twelve dominoes. Try to be the first one to use up your dominoes and win. It’s a great game for sequencing and strategizing and will definitely keep your wheels in motion!

Hand & Foot Cards
Thursdays at 10 a.m.

We’re playing with cards, not fingers and toes! This is a somewhat unfamiliar card game to most people that is often compared to canasta. We have wonderful teacher for anyone willing to learn this exciting game.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program

"SeniorSize"

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m.
The key to a healthy life is staying active. Growing older does not mean that you have to lose strength or your ability to do everyday tasks. “Senior Size” is a program that is designed to motivate seniors to take charge of their health through exercising. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 a/m at Brighton Park. A written diagnosis of arthritis is not necessary. All participants must register before attending sessions.

Walking Club

Monday/Friday 9 a.m.

Walking is one of the best exercises for helping to build cardiovascular strength and endurance. Join a group of your peers at Brighton Park on Monday and Friday mornings for a walk.

Crafty Ideas

Fridays at 10 a.m

Come share your latest craft ideas with our senior crafts group. Learn new techniques in crocheting, beadwork, seasonal home décor, and much more from a group of your peers. This is a perfect time to finish up a project that you’ve been working on or start something new.
